When are you open? -We are open from May to October, but we give tours year round by appointment.
When can we come tour the farm? -Just give us a call, we're happy to show you around...by appointment only please.
If we book the Hidden Meadow and Barn for our wedding, what times would we have then venue? -Friday and Saturday bookings, the farm is available for you from 10am-midnight, and Sundays from 10am-10pm.
How long can the music play for? -On Friday and Saturdays the music can play until 11:30pm and 9:30pm on Sundays.
Do you provide the tables and chairs? -Yes, we'll supply the tables and chairs. We have custom built, beautiful wood tables for the guests and a beefy and grand head table!
Do I need to set up the tables and chairs? -No, we'll take care of that for you and we'll take care of breaking them down after the wedding too.
Does your venue have plenty of parking? Yes, there is plenty of onsite parking.
Is there electric and running water? Yes, all the electric was beefed up for a great party! We also have running water in our prep area for filling vases, washing hands, or just a cold glass of water:)
Is there real bathrooms? Yes, there are! And they're pretty awesome too!
What should I wear to an event here? -Attire should be chosen based on the formality of the invitation you received. Some events are more casual than others. Also, as most ceremonies and/or social hours are held outdoors, be sure to dress appropriately for the weather. The most important factor is SHOES! We would highly recommend not wearing spike heels. Wedges, flats, boots, etc. work way better.
I know one of the owners is a photographer, is there a discount for using her to photograph our wedding? -Yes, Angela is a professional photographer, having shot over 200 weddings. If you book her to photograph your wedding, you'll receive a 5% venue discount.
Is there someone on site the day of the wedding? -Yes, we'll have a venue representative here to answer questions. If you're looking for someone more hands on to help with coordinating your wedding and helping with the planning process, we can help with that too...please inquire about pricing.
Can we leave cars overnight? -We don't want people drinking and driving, so as long as vehicles are picked up by 9am the next morning, it's ok to leave them overnight.
Can we leave items overnight? -All items must be removed from the property by midnight, unless approved prior by the Hidden Meadow & Barn.
Is there a place for the Bride and Bridesmaids to get ready? Definitely, we have plenty of mirror space and outlets too.
Is there a place for the Groom and Groomsmen to get ready? Yes, of course we couldn't forget about the guys:)
What is your pricing? -Please give us a ring....we'd love to chat with you about all the farm has to offer, and set up a time for you to see it in person!
What yard games do you have for social hour? -We provide bean bag toss, ladder golf, Giant Jenga, yard dice, and Kuub.
Is there smoking allowed on the farm? -There is a designated smoking area, otherwise the rest of the farm is smoke free for the safety of the buildings and their guests.
What do we have to clean up at the end of the night? -All personal belongings, decor, and outside rental items must be packed up and removed from the property. Tables, chairs and other furniture items can be left in place. *If necessary, arrangements can be made for large items that can't be taken that night.
Do you have a secure area where gifts and personal belongings can be left? -No we do not. We recommend that all gifts and valuable personal belongings be put in a locked vehicle after dinner.
Can our dog take part in our wedding? -Yes, we love our fur children too. Please give us a call for prior approval, so we can make arrangements for our fur daughter to go see Grandma:)
Do we need to have our own insurance the day of the wedding? -All clients must carry insurance to cover their event. Check with your homeowners/renters insurance to see if it can cover an event of this type.
